To take an historic home, refresh it, revive it, and make it work for today is one of our favorite projects!  From the very earliest stages of this project, the goal was to breathe new life into a dilapidated structure with hopes it’s revived state would become a resource for the many in our region in need of their own emotional/mental “restoration”!

We were tasked with creating a “clinical” situation with a very “non-clinical” feel.  A commercial space that feels like home…that will hold up to the wear and tear of frequent traffic…but doesn’t feel cold and harsh.

The Waiting Room

We had the advantage of working with several amazing architects who made sure the historic details were honored, restored and preserved….from the beautiful woodwork…

to the reproduction fittings that hearken back to the original home…at least as we could have envisioned it!

We utilized occasional accents of contemporary pieces to keep the space fresh and updated…acrylic seating at a “farmhouse” conference table…

…and stainless counter tops in the staff kitchen.
